Discussion Notes

Rotary info discussion with new member. Below is a useful check list to answer a new member's questions about the club, including their obligatory roster & catering responsibilities. Potential members PRIOR to induction should be extended the courtesy of a discussion about Rotary, how our club operates and be given the opportunity to ask questions. (Some clubs offer on-going rotary training to new members after induction. Also, our District "Rotary Leadership Institute" runs short programs open to any Rotarian who wants to know more about Rotary).
An informal discussion (using the notes below as an agenda guide) with the potential member and partner, with one or two club representative over a cup of coffee is recommended. It is beneficial often to include the partner of a current member.
